Campfire Crossing Community Guidelines
Campfire Crossing is designed around cooperation, friendship, conversation, and keeping the fire alive together. You are welcome to joke, tease, debate, disagree, and express yourself. Some conduct crosses the line, and these guidelines explain where that line is.
1. What Is Not Allowed
The following behavior is not allowed in Campfire Crossing:
- Credible threats of violence
- Encouraging suicide or serious self-harm
- Severe or repeated targeted harassment
- Hateful attacks targeting protected characteristics
- Sexualizing or exploiting minors
- Sharing private addresses, financial details, or other highly sensitive personal information with harmful intent
- Scamming or defrauding other players
- Spam
- Harmful or deceptive impersonation
- Evading moderation, suspensions, or blocks
- Coordinating illegal or seriously harmful activity
2. Profanity and Casual Conflict
Ordinary profanity or disagreement is not automatically banned. Moderation focuses on harmful, threatening, exploitative, hateful, deceptive, or severely abusive behavior. Context matters.
3. Blocking
You can block another player at any time. Blocking prevents interaction across relevant social features. The blocked user is not notified.
4. Reporting
You can report users and content in the app. Reports may include surrounding context so our moderation can be fair and informed. Knowingly false or abusive reports may result in action against the reporter.
5. Enforcement
Depending on the situation, enforcement may include content rejection, warnings, feature restrictions, temporary restrictions, suspension, or permanent account removal. Severe conduct may lead to immediate action.
6. Safety Concerns
If someone is in immediate physical danger, contact your local emergency services first. For Campfire Crossing safety and moderation questions, email support@campfirecrossing.com.
